As you see, I saw spam as an issue and fought it in the early days:

• Whither Unsolicted Commercial E-mail (aka Spam)
• Spam Cancel in at.* (incl. the official FAQ)

While employed at Vienna University of Technology, I did quite a bit of teaching and supervision.

And I used to be engaged in Usenet, specifically the Austrian hierarchy at.*, serving as Austrian Volunteer Votetaker.
